TestPad Privacy Policy

Who We Are

TestPad is provided by get2drive.ie.

Information Stored in the App

TestPad lets instructors enter and store pupil names, mock test dates, Grade 2 and Grade 3 fault marks, instructor notes, test outcomes, saved test history, PIN/password lock settings, and trial or purchase unlock status.

This information is stored locally on the device. Pupil names are encrypted in local storage.

Information We Collect From the App

The current version of TestPad does not send pupil names, mock test records, notes, PINs, or test history to get2drive.ie servers.

The app does not currently use analytics, advertising SDKs, crash reporting SDKs, location tracking, contacts, camera, microphone, or background tracking.

Purchases

TestPad includes a 7-day trial and a one-time unlock purchase.

Purchases are processed by Google Play or Apple App Store, depending on where you download TestPad. The store provider may process payment, account, tax, fraud prevention, and purchase information under its own terms and privacy policy.

TestPad does not store full payment card details.

Restore Purchase restores paid access on the same store account. It does not restore deleted local pupil records or mock test history.

How App Information Is Used

Local app data is used to conduct live mock driving tests, save and reopen test history, show pupil lookup and duplicate pupil matches, protect the app with a PIN/password lock, and manage trial or purchase unlock status.

Sharing

TestPad does not share locally stored pupil records, mock test results, or instructor notes with third parties.

Purchase processing is handled by the relevant app store provider.

Website Analytics

This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand basic website traffic and performance. This is separate from the TestPad app. It does not give get2drive.ie pupil names, mock test records, notes, PINs, or app history.

Support Requests

If you contact support, you may choose to provide information such as your app version, device model, Android or iPadOS version, and a short description of the issue.

Do not send pupil names, full test records, or other unnecessary personal information unless it is needed for your support request.

Data Retention

Mock test records and pupil details remain on the device until the user deletes them, clears app data, uninstalls the app, loses the device, or until deletion functionality is used inside the app.

If the app is uninstalled, locally stored app data may be removed by the operating system.

Security

TestPad uses local device storage and encrypts pupil names in local storage. The app also includes a PIN/password lock.

No security method is perfect. Instructors should protect their device with a device passcode, biometric lock, or equivalent device security.

Children's Data

TestPad is intended for use by driving instructors, not children. It may contain pupil names entered by an instructor. Instructors are responsible for entering only information they have a lawful basis to record.

Your Choices

Because TestPad stores app data locally, requests to access, correct, or delete app data will usually need to be handled on the device where the app is installed.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as TestPad develops. The updated policy will show a new effective date.
